Does the vacuum cleaner leak dust during the cleaning process?

In some cases, vacuum cleaners may indeed experience dust leakage during the cleaning process. The following are the possible causes and countermeasures for dust leakage:
1、 Filter problem
Filter aging or damage: If the HEPA filter or primary filter is damaged, aged, or not installed properly, fine dust may be discharged from the body with the airflow, causing secondary pollution.
Insufficient filter level: Some low-end vacuum cleaners use ordinary sponge or metal filters, which cannot effectively filter out fine dust and allergens.
Solution suggestion: Choose a vacuum cleaner equipped with an efficient HEPA filter (H12 or above) that can be replaced regularly to ensure clean air discharge.

2、 The dust collection container is not sealed properly
Poor sealing of dust box or bag: If the dust box cover is not fastened properly or the dust collection bag is misplaced, the inhaled dust may leak out through the gaps.
Improper operation during replacement or dust removal: cleaning the dust collection box too forcefully or directly dumping garbage indoors may cause dust to float in the air.
Solution suggestion: Ensure that the dust box is installed in place, regularly clean the sealing strip, replace the dust bag gently and slowly, and operate in a ventilated environment.

3、 Poor design of airflow exhaust system
Unreasonable exhaust position: Some old or cheap vacuum cleaners have poorly designed exhaust vents, and the airflow may directly blow small dust back into the air.
Lack of multi-stage filtration system: If there is only one stage of filtration, dust and fine particles are more easily carried out by the exhaust.
Solution suggestion: Choose vacuum cleaners with multiple filtration systems, especially those equipped with rear HEPA filters, to ensure clean exhaust air.

4、 Dust collection capacity is full
Dust bucket or bag fully loaded: When the dust collection capacity is full, the airflow channel narrows, causing dust to not enter the dust box normally, but may instead flow back from the suction port or leak out with the airflow.
Solution suggestion: Regularly check the status of the dust box, do not wait for the "full load reminder" to clean, and keep the vacuum cleaner running smoothly.

5、 Quality issues with the vacuum cleaner itself
Poor design process: Products with poor sealing, loose accessory interfaces, or inferior filter materials are more prone to dust leakage.
Solution suggestion: Choose well-known brands and certified vacuum cleaner products, pay attention to their sealing, user reputation, and filtration system configuration.
